When I joined the Arizona Founding Chapter of GPA nearly 15 years ago, I was a young, eager, and highly motivated grant writer with only a couple years of experience. I admired and looked up to fellow chapter members who were grant writing veterans, many of whom had their GPC. Second, the GPCI and GPA communities are amazing.

When it comes to post-award grants management, a huge focus area (and an area ripe with single audit findings) is procurement. Also, establish formal agreements with each subrecipient and contractor, and that they include terms and conditions that mimic the requirements for the recipient or pass-through entity.
