This process will allow me to remove inorganic carbon, specifically carbonates, and keep the organic carbon compounds for isotopic analysis. Since I’m at home for the summer working for the global cause of hunger, i’m able to wake up to leave before 12:30 for my dry goods sorting shift at Second Harvest, which starts at 1:00. If I’m meeting with a coordinator or director, those are usually held earlier at around 11:00 so I leave earlier for that.
