Graduation from TEFL!

HSF House

My experience over this past summer has been amazing. I’ve learned so much about teaching English while simultaneously building a network of international students who have all become close friends of mine. The TEFL classes were lengthy, but this was completely necessary as we needed to cover a lot of content. The staff and students at CIES helped me get through this course with their upbeat personalities and interest in my pursuits.

All around Belize

I am currently three weeks into interning in Belize, and I am learning so much. I have had great experiences of presenting a PowerPoint on juvenile delinquency to the mental health board, witnessing clinical interviews, aid in paperwork and help clientele. While also aiding in forensic evaluations and talking to prisoners. This experience alone has allowed me to truly identify what I am passionate about.

Farewell to my experience!

I went from being a much more reserved individual, to now where I feel like I can do just about anything.
