However, there is such an intensive focus on the pre-award stage that, unfortunately, this often leads to people becoming more removed from what needs to happen upon award receipt.

Presentations covered all types of topics, from pre-award to post-award, for professionals both new and seasoned, working within organizations and independently. The day’s highlight was an invite-only reception for GPCs, hosted by GPCI. Each vendor offered swag, and some even provided tutorials on their software platforms.

Since 2006, the Grant Professionals Foundation (GPF) has ensured resources are available to educate, credential, and assist grant professionals who secure the funding necessary for not-for-profits to serve the greater good. For the 2023 GrantSummit, GPF awarded 14 scholarships for grant professionals to attend virtually and in person.
