Presentations covered all types of topics, from pre-award to post-award, for professionals both new and seasoned, working within organizations and independently. Planning was overwhelming, but the conference app allowed me to overlap conflicting events, so I could decide later.

This year’s conference is in Denver, Colorado (and online), October 30th through November 2nd. Professional Development: The pinnacle of my grants career came in 2017 when I became credentialed as a GPC through the Grant Professionals Certification Institute (GPCI). Every year, I discover new ways to volunteer for GPA and GPCI.

In many cases, the scholarship award also covers the local GPA chapter allowing members to access monthly network and learning opportunities. The GrantSummit scholarships cover the conference registration only, and the scholarship recipient is responsible for all travel and lodging expenses.
