Actually, burnout has been around for a long while, recognized in the healthcare and social service industries. The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes burnout as an occupational phenomenon (though it’s not recognized as a medical condition). That’s another buzzword like quiet quitting or hustle culture , right?

When I hear from GrantWriting Made Easy students about their grant wins, they invariably share what a difference that money makes in their day-to-day operations. While many grants still place limitations on how much they will fund administrative expenses, there is a simple work-around. And I’m talking about more funding.
Part of that education is teaching them about a carefully crafted grant calendar that only includes grants you are (1) eligible to apply for and (2) competitive enough to be considered for selection. It does not mean you will win every grant you apply for, but it does lessen the time spent on grants that are a long shot, at best.
