The GrantSummit scholarships cover the conference registration only, and the scholarship recipient is responsible for all travel and lodging expenses. For the 2023 GrantSummit, GPF awarded 14 scholarships for grant professionals to attend virtually and in person.

In early November 2023, I attended GrantSummit (formerly known as the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) Annual Conference) in Kansas City, Missouri. This multi-day conference is the premier professional development event for grant professionals in the U.S. This year, for the first time, my answer was “Yes.”

I attended the recent GPA iLearnLive conference dedicated to AI and its impact on our profession. According to Grant Station’s 2023 State of Grant Seeking report, 18% of respondents represented all-volunteer organizations or had only one employee doing the job of many. Nonetheless, I am fascinated by ChatGPT and other emerging tools.
