The 2016 Cause Marketing Forum Conference was held in Chicago last week. The conference is that one time of year I get to see everyone in the cause marketing world. If you haven't attended the conference, or if it's been a few years since you attended, please make plans to attend the conference in 2017.
Help put together the educational program for the 2017 Nonprofit Technology Conference , taking place March 23 – 25, 2017 in Washington, DC. Nonprofit educators, leaders, and consultants from multiple countries submitted over 540 session proposals to NTEN. Public voting will end August 1, 2016.
While I'm sure your organization has never made a major tech purchase decision because you "have a volunteer/consultant who knows it," it's possible that a sticker price of free ("Free!") These pearls of wisdom and more are going to be shared at the 2016 Nonprofit Technology Conference (16NTC).
Since the beginning of the year, several of you have emailed me asking about conferences to attend in 2019. I don't really like attending conferences. I like to say that conference are for people who don't read. The good news is that you can still "attend" a conference and benefit from the networking and learning.
Nonprofit consultant Lauren Girardin compiled a board on Pinterest of social good campaigns that have appeared on Twitter Moments. It's so easy to start virtual conversations at conferences or during webinars when you've got a hashtag to tack on. I look forward to see this continuing growth in 2016. spanhidden.
