In addition to the new user interface, Windows Server 2012 also features a greatly enhanced PowerShell, a recycle bin for Active Directory, and a new version of Hyper-V. The two primary editions in the 2012 version are Standard and Datacenter. Web, Enterprise, Itanium, and Foundation editions have been retired in Windows Server 2012.
