Most of the libraries and nonprofits I visit have older PCs. We installed Windows 8 and Office 2010 Standard on a classic Windows XP computer, a Dell Optiplex GX 280. The Windows 8 and Office 2010 installations went smoothly without any problems. Office 2010 worked perfectly as well. Here's what we discovered.
