We installed Windows 8 and Office 2010 Standard on a classic Windows XP computer, a Dell Optiplex GX 280. The Windows 8 and Office 2010 installations went smoothly without any problems. With all that going, I flipped around to all the different applications and browser windows and found no delays or blurry pixelation.

If you add the complimentary Live Mesh application , you can also synchronise folders you choose between multiple computers. If you're on a computer that doesn't have Microsoft Office installed, just whip a Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote file onto SkyDrive and give it a click. And there it is, open in your web browser.
