When we entered the pandemic lockdown here in the United States, nonprofits were rightly concerned about potentially plummeting donations. I've fundraised through a number of downturns (the dot com bust in the late 90s, the downturn following 9/11, and the 2008 housing bust) and through a number of disasters (hurricanes, flooding, etc.).
