Operating 12 branches throughout the boroughs of New York City, the Ali Forney Center was founded in 2002 in his memory. Through these extensive, on-site services, the organization's goal is to transform the lives of homeless youth so they never have to go back to the streets again. Forney was murdered in 1997.
